Marcin Szterling is a Lead Magento Developer with more than a decade of hands-on Adobe Commerce experience and over 30 years in web development overall. He’s an Adobe Certified Master Architect, the highest tier of Adobe’s credentialing, and he’s delivered more than 50 Magento builds and migrations across his career.

His work tends towards the complex end of the spectrum: multi-store, multi-currency, multi-language platforms where the stakes and the moving parts are both high. He’s architected a catalogue of 1.3 million SKUs on Magento Open Source and kept a multi-store operation turning over £200 million a year stable under heavy order volumes and enormous product catalogues. That stability, rather than any single flashy feature, is what he’s proudest of: platforms that stay calm and predictable while doing a great deal of work behind the scenes.

Marcin’s deepest sector experience is in B2B, luxury, and high-value goods, where reliability and trust matter as much as throughput. He’s particularly known for upgrade and release-risk management, the kind of careful, low-drama deployments that move a business forward without putting it at risk. Earlier in his career he built a Magento 1 search module that became widely used across the community, and he continues to focus on the architectural decisions that keep complex Commerce builds maintainable for years rather than months.
